If I ever become rich enough, I really want to build a Ferrari 575M Maranello drift car and field it in some pro-am series just to see people's reaction. It'll probably be ass, but hey, Ferrari V12!

To the point where you would donate money through a Kickstarter? :D I could be like Danny George and put a donator's face on it lol.

O_0 Will a used 308 GTB work instead?

Add turbo and wide body kit
And boom - fake GTO!

Until the motor eventually give. Then small block time!

Haha that is an awesome idea!
Turbo charge them all till they die and then drop in crate motors

I'd put a Modular in there just because their more rev happy, and that seems appropriate for a Fezzer.

Did you see my post from Cars and Coffee last Sat? I was driving around with some friends, including a white 16M and a 458 speciale (first one in the US, in fact). True story!

NVM I did see it. I remembered that post but I thought you meant there was a new one. I couldn't remember if I saw that post last weekend or two weekends ago. Time goes so fast I have no sense of it anymore, haha

I am not allowed to watch that. That would be way too dangerous. Because I talked to a Ferrari dealer recently and he said I could place an order without even putting a deposit down. Since the 458 Speciale got a ton of orders and won't actually be delivered for over a year it would be way too tempting to place an order and then spend a year working 80 hour weeks to maybe have enough of a down payment to take delivery of it with a long term loan.
I have been pondering this idea every night. But then I tell myself that it's crazy. I tell myself that the new Lambo looks better and that the replacement for the standard 458 will be out soon and probably be nearly as good as the 458 Speciale. I come up with all sorts of excuses to stop me from making an insane financial commitment. But deep down I do think the ultimate evolution of each generation of the Dino is a truly special car that's worth the money. When it comes to actual driving pleasure there is nothing that I would want more than the latest version of the Super Dino that I could possibly afford.

Haha I agree. I think I'd be just as happy to have a 360 CS as I would be to have a 430 Scud or a 458 Speciale. Sounds kind of strange to say that, but I really don't desire any one of them any more or less than the others!

I am killing myself for not researching exotic car loans 3 years ago.
I saw a clean 360 CS for sale 3 years ago for about $105K.
Now they go for way more than that. They cost almost as much as the F430 Scud now. They have appreciated a lot.
